Frequently asked questions
RingCentral shows no per-plan dollar prices, so we cannot say what saves money. Nextiva lists small business plans from $15 per user per month, Ringover starts at $19 on Talk, and JustCall at $29 on Team. Get quotes for the same headcount and compare the plans that include a dialer.
Ringover has a 3-user minimum with a 12-month commitment, and Aircall needs 3 licenses on its paid plans. JustCall lists a 2-license minimum on most plans. Five9 asks for 50 seats, so it is a poor fit for a handful of reps. Confirm minimums with each vendor.
JustCall gives 14 days with no card. Ringover offers 7 days for up to 5 users, started through its sales team. Aircall says new accounts get free access but states no length. Nextiva, Talkdesk and Five9 point to demos rather than a trial on their pricing pages.
Nextiva is the nearest match. It sells a business phone with texting for small companies and a contact center line for larger ones, much as RingCentral does with RingEX and RingCX. Talkdesk and Five9 sit closer to contact center software than to a general business phone.
Expect some overlap. Numbers, call flows and recordings belong to each vendor, so ask the new one what it can import. Download your recordings before cancelling, since RingCentral lists bulk download. Move one small group of reps first, then the rest once calls sound right.
Check your exact CRM first. Salesforce shows up in the integration lists for Aircall, Ringover, JustCall, Nextiva, Talkdesk and Five9. HubSpot appears for all of those except Five9. Smaller CRMs vary by vendor, so confirm on each integrations page before you move.
Aircall puts its Power Dialer on Professional, JustCall on Pro, and Ringover on Business. Each is a business phone with a dialer on a higher plan. Nextiva keeps extra dialing modes on its Professional contact center plan, which has no published price.
The records here do not state retention periods for the other vendors, so we cannot say. RingCentral keeps recordings up to 90 days. Ask each vendor how long calls are stored, whether storage costs extra, and how you can export them in bulk.
Talkdesk and Five9 are built around contact centers, and Nextiva sells a contact center line with plans from $75 per agent. Talkdesk publishes no prices, and Five9 lists Digital at $119 and Core at $159 per seat with a 50-seat minimum.
It helps with any vendor, because trial minutes and per-seat spend go on dead lines too. Will This Person Answer reads US phone numbers only and labels each contact High chance, Low chance or Bad data. New accounts get 250 free contact checks, so you can test it on a pilot list.
