Frequently asked questions
We cannot promise one, because Outreach publishes no dollar prices. HubSpot lists Sales Hub at $20, $100 and $150 per seat a month, and Salesforce lists Sales Cloud from $25 per user a month. Apollo has a free plan. Salesloft and Gong publish no prices either.
HubSpot and Salesforce both list startups and small businesses among the teams they serve, and each has a starter tier with published pricing. Apollo is listed for startups and small businesses and has a free plan. Ask every vendor about seat minimums before you commit.
HubSpot lists a 14-day free trial of its sales tools, and Salesforce offers a free trial on Starter Suite, Pro Suite, Core and Advanced. Apollo has a free plan with no time limit. Salesloft and Gong show no trial on their pricing pages.
Salesloft. Its site lists cadences for sales engagement, conversation intelligence, deals and forecasting, which is the same ground Outreach covers. Both sell by quote and neither describes dialer features in the pages we read, so compare the details in a demo.
Apollo names a Parallel Dialer among its tools, and HubSpot says reps can place and record calls from the CRM, though not in every country. Salesforce, Salesloft and Gong pages we read do not describe a dialer, so confirm calling with each vendor.
Only for part of the job. Gong records and analyzes calls, meetings and emails for coaching and forecasting, and it sells Gong Engage for outreach. It works on conversations that already happened, so it does not help you choose which numbers to dial.
Start with what you use today: prospecting, coaching, forecasting or deal tracking. Then check that the new tool covers it, and export your prospect lists before you leave. Test the new platform with a small group of reps first, since pages do not always show every limit.
Each lists its own integrations. Salesloft names Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gmail and Outlook. Gong lists Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoom and Slack among many others. HubSpot lists Gmail, Zoom and Zapier. Check each vendor's integrations page against your CRM before you decide.
HubSpot. Its Sales Hub page says calls are placed from the account, recorded and logged to the contact automatically, on top of the HubSpot CRM that has a free version. Calling runs on HubSpot-provided numbers and is not supported in every country.
It is worth doing whichever platform you pick, because a dead line costs a rep call time on any of them. Will This Person Answer checks US phone numbers before you load them, and labels each High chance, Low chance or Bad data. The first 250 contacts are free.
