Features, pricing and fit, compared from a cold calling point of view. Not affiliated with either tool.
Salesloft and Outreach are both sales engagement platforms for revenue teams, and neither publishes dollar prices. Salesloft lists Cadence, Conversation Intelligence, Deals and Rhythm, plus forecasting products. Outreach describes an AI platform with agents, conversation intelligence and forecasting, sold in four per-user packages with AI credits. The pages we read for both do not describe a dialer. This page sets out what each vendor says on its own site.

The short answer
Here is who each of Salesloft and Outreach suits best, from what each vendor says on its own site.
- You want a product named Cadence for multi-step outreach, with Conversation Intelligence, Deals and Rhythm from the same vendor.
- You want forecasting and pipeline products for executives and RevOps, which Salesloft lists as Clari Forecast, Inspect, Revenue Cadences and Analytics.
- You rely on Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gmail or Outlook, which Salesloft names on its integrations page.
- You want AI agents that research accounts, surface prospects and flag deals at risk, with an audit trail for every agent action.
- You want packages you can read about, since Outreach lists Amplify Essentials, Core, Plus and Pro with 10,000 to 100,000 AI credits.
- You want a conversational agent, Outreach Omni, that can work across accounts, opportunities, prospects and meetings, including in Slack.

Frequently asked questions
Neither vendor publishes dollar prices, so we cannot say. Salesloft points to a sales conversation of an intro call, a walkthrough and next steps. Outreach lists four packages billed per user with AI credits and asks you to request custom pricing. You need a quote from both to compare cost.
The pages we read for both describe a revenue platform and do not describe dialer features or voice calling. If calling inside the tool matters, ask each vendor what phone features your plan includes before you buy. We have not confirmed either way.
Neither pricing page mentions a free trial or a free plan. Salesloft points to talking to sales, and Outreach offers Request Pricing and Get custom pricing buttons. Ask each vendor directly if a trial matters to you.
Both. Salesloft lists Conversation Intelligence as an account-team product. Outreach lists conversation intelligence that surfaces coaching opportunities, and its Amplify Essentials package is the one focused on it. The pages we read do not compare the two features in detail.
Salesloft names Cadence as its sales engagement product, and also lists Revenue Cadences for executive and RevOps teams. Outreach describes prospecting more broadly and does not name a cadence product on the pages we read. Ask Outreach how it handles multi-step sequences.
Salesloft names Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gmail and Outlook, and mentions an app directory and an API. Our Outreach record lists only Slack, from the Outreach Omni description. It is thin, so check Outreach's own integration list for your CRM.
Salesloft names sales teams, account teams, sales executives, RevOps and sales operations. Outreach names Sales, Marketing, RevOps and Customer Success. Neither page states which company sizes it targets, so ask each vendor if team size is a concern.
Salesloft shows no plans or prices. Outreach bills per user with no platform fees, plus AI credits, and says extra credit packs can be bought if a plan runs out. Outreach also lists credit allowances per package, which Salesloft does not.
No. Neither has a documented native integration, so you export your prospects as a CSV, check them, then use the results to decide who gets call steps. US phone numbers only, and the first 250 contacts are free with no card required. One credit checks one contact.
Each contact comes back High chance, Low chance or Bad data. In either tool, put High chance contacts into steps with calls, use email or LinkedIn steps for Low chance, and keep Bad data out of phone steps so no rep time goes to numbers that go nowhere.
Know who’ll answer
before you call.
Ask your AI tool who on your list will pick up. Every contact comes back High chance, Low chance or Bad data, with the best way to reach them.
No card required. US phone numbers only.
