Kixie vs PhoneBurner: which is right for you?
Features, pricing and fit, compared from a cold calling point of view. Not affiliated with either tool.
Kixie and PhoneBurner are both power dialers for sales teams, but they are sold differently. Kixie starts with a business phone number tied to your CRM and adds a multi-line dialer that can ring up to four numbers at once, with no dollar prices in the pricing page text we read. PhoneBurner works a list one contact at a time and publishes its plan prices. This page sets out what each vendor says on its own site.

The short answer
Here is who each of Kixie and PhoneBurner suits best, from what each vendor says on its own site.
- You want a dialer that can ring up to four numbers at once, since Kixie sells a Multi-Line PowerDialer plan.
- You want a business phone number tied to your CRM, with texting and call recording across plans, and a 7-day free trial with no credit card.
- You use HighLevel, Pipedrive or ActiveCampaign, which Kixie lists as native integrations, or you want to connect through Zapier, Make, Tray or n8n.
- You want plan prices on the page, since PhoneBurner lists Standard at $140 a month billed annually, which makes a few seats easy to budget.
- You want a score on each number, since Connect Scores rates numbers Low, Medium or High and can skip low scores in a dial session, as a paid add-on.
- You want an open API and webhooks that can push contacts to a CRM based on call outcome, or you work a large list one contact at a time with email and SMS alongside.

Frequently asked questions
PhoneBurner lists Standard at $140 a month billed annually ($165 monthly), Professional at $165 ($195) and Premium at $183 ($215). Kixie's pricing page text showed no dollar prices when we read it on Oct 7, 2026, so you need its trial or a quote to compare. Add-ons raise both totals.
Kixie's Multi-Line PowerDialer plan can dial up to four numbers in parallel, and its Single-Line plan dials one at a time. PhoneBurner's record lists a power dialer and an auto dialer that work a list one call at a time, and it does not describe a multi-line mode. Ask PhoneBurner if that matters to you.
Both do. Kixie offers 7 days with no credit card. PhoneBurner offers a free trial with test minutes and says no card is needed, but its length and minutes are not stated, so check the pricing page when you sign up.
Each sells something for it as an add-on. Kixie has ConnectionBoost, which combines local presence, number monitoring and progressive caller ID. PhoneBurner has ARMOR, its spam protection and number monitoring aimed at Spam Likely flags. Neither vendor publishes how well it works, so test on a small list first.
Both list Salesforce, HubSpot and Zoho. Kixie also lists HighLevel, Pipedrive and ActiveCampaign. PhoneBurner also lists Close, GoHighLevel, monday.com, SugarCRM and Outreach. Check each integrations page for what syncs back to the record.
PhoneBurner caps contact import per month at 10,000 on Standard, 20,000 on Professional and 50,000 on Premium, and recording storage runs 30 days, 90 days or unlimited by plan. Kixie lists no import cap in our record, but says APIs and webhooks are for enterprise developers.
Both add texting. Kixie includes business SMS and call recording across plans, and sells Conversation Intelligence as an add-on. PhoneBurner works email and SMS into the same session as its calls. Our records list no sequence builder for either one.
Connect Scores is a paid PhoneBurner add-on that rates each number Low, Medium or High using signals such as carrier data and engagement history. Our Kixie record lists no number scoring, only ConnectionBoost for getting calls picked up. Scoring happens inside the dialer, after the list is already loaded.
No. Neither has a native integration, so you check the contacts first by CSV, API or MCP, then load the High chance contacts into your dialer. US phone numbers only, and the first 250 contacts are free with no card required.
Load the High chance contacts into Kixie's PowerDialer or a PhoneBurner folder, since PhoneBurner takes CSV or XLSX imports. Send Low chance contacts to texting or email, which both tools offer. Leave Bad data out, which also saves PhoneBurner's monthly import cap.
