Frequently asked questions
The reasons we can see are practical. Prices are not shown and the pricing page address returned a not-found error when we checked. It also records calls instead of placing them, so you need another tool for dialing. None of that makes it a weak product.
Gong, Trellus, Nooks and Aircall. Gong is the closest on recording and analysis. Trellus and Nooks are dialers that add coaching to calling. Aircall is a phone system with a Power Dialer and coaching on its Professional plan.
Jiminny shows no prices, so we cannot say what saves money. Only Aircall publishes figures, at $30 and $50 per license per month. Gong and Nooks give quotes on request, and Trellus shows conflicting numbers. Ask each for a quote at your headcount.
Check seat rules first. Aircall's paid plans need at least 3 licenses. Gong prices by team size through a proposal form. Trellus has self-serve plans for individuals as well as team plans. Jiminny's pages name managers and revenue operations as users, so a team without them may not need its review tools.
Jiminny offers 14 days with no credit card. Trellus offers a free trial through its Chrome extension, and Aircall says new accounts get free access, with no stated length. Gong's pricing page does not mention a trial, and Nooks has none recorded, so ask both for a demo.
Gong. Both record and transcribe sales conversations and analyze them for coaching and deal insight. Gong also covers emails and adds forecasting. Both review conversations that already happened, and neither places the calls, so you would still need a dialer with either one.
Jiminny logs calls, transcripts and insights to your CRM, so that history stays in the CRM. The recordings and insights sit with Jiminny. Ask any new vendor what it imports, and run both tools side by side on one team before you cancel.
Not exactly. Jiminny lists dialers such as Aircall, Dialpad and Five9. Gong lists Salesforce, HubSpot and Zoom. Trellus lists 28 tools including Aircall and Dialpad. Nooks lists Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach and Salesloft. Compare each list against the tools you run today.
With Gong, yes, since it analyzes conversations rather than placing calls. Trellus and Nooks are dialers, and Aircall is a phone system, so each can place calls. Check how each one logs calls to your CRM before you decide.
Any of these tools can only record or analyze calls that connect. Will This Person Answer checks US numbers before they are loaded and returns High chance, Low chance or Bad data. It works on a CSV, through the API or by MCP, and the first 250 contacts are free.
