Frequently asked questions
Only Xverify publishes prices. It is pay as you go with no setup fees or minimums, and its tiers run from $5 for 500 verifications up to $2,500 for 2.5 million. Phone Verify's site shows no prices, plans or credit packs, so you need a quote from the vendor to compare.
Yes. Phone Verify's site says it supports US and Canadian numbers only. Xverify's documentation lists the US and Canada as the countries its phone check returns. If your list has numbers from other countries, split it before you run either one.
Phone Verify checks whether a number is valid and reachable. Xverify returns a valid or invalid status with a reason, the line type, whether the use is business or residential, a time zone and a location. Xverify also covers email and postal addresses.
Xverify's site says it offers 100 free verifications, then you buy on demand. Phone Verify's site does not mention a free trial or a free tier, so ask the vendor if you want to test it on a sample list.
Phone Verify's site lists Zapier and Clay as integrations. Xverify's pages list Formstack and no native CRM connections, so you use its API, JavaScript plug-in or file upload. Neither site names a dialer integration, so confirm that with the vendor.
Xverify describes a drag-and-drop uploader and FTP access for batch lists, plus an API for checking records one at a time. Phone Verify describes importing a list of numbers and checking each one, but its site does not say which file formats it accepts.
Phone Verify adds call outcome detection, best time-to-call predictions, local dialing and bulk actions. Xverify adds email verification, address verification and a combined endpoint that checks all three in one call. Which extras matter depends on whether you are calling or cleaning data.
Yes. Neither connects to Will This Person Answer directly, so you export the checked list as a CSV and upload it. Only US phone numbers are checked, so Canadian numbers on the list will not be. The first 250 contacts are free.
Both tools look at the number. Will This Person Answer looks at the contact and returns High chance, Low chance or Bad data, so you know who to dial first. Xverify's own limitations note that it says nothing about whether someone will pick up. One credit checks one contact.
Keep the numbers your first tool passes, then run them through Will This Person Answer. Dial the High chance contacts first, move Low chance contacts to email or LinkedIn, and keep Bad data contacts out of the dialing session.
Know who’ll answer
before you call.
Ask your AI tool who on your list will pick up. Every contact comes back High chance, Low chance or Bad data, with the best way to reach them.
No card required. US phone numbers only.
